Sunmix Easy 6: specs, capacity and who it’s for
The smallest Sunmix spiral mixer: up to 13 lb of dough on a regular 110V outlet, with the same spiral mechanics as the bigger machines and simple knob controls.
Who’s behind this: the team at TheLoveOfDough, the eBay store that sells these Sunmix machines. Links to eBay go to our own listings.
In short: up to 13 lb (6 kg) of dough per batch (about 24 dough balls of 250 g), manual knobs, and it plugs into a regular 110V outlet.
What each feature does
- Inverter speed control: any spiral speed from 50–300 RPM, not two fixed speeds, and a smooth start. How it works
- 300 RPM top speed: a short finishing burst for wetter doughs, over 60% water. How it works
- Reverse: combines a biga, preferment or starter refresh without kneading it. How it works
- 1:9 bowl-to-spiral ratio: the spiral turns nine times per bowl turn, so the whole batch is worked evenly. How it works
No dough-temperature sensor, bowl lights or stored recipes: those come with the Sunmix Evo 6.
